The EXPLORER 710 is the flagship Explorer BGAN terminal tied with the Hughes 9211 for the fastest speed possible of BGAN terminals. The carry portable office provides high-speed Internet access with multiple interfaces for countless applications. Connect your phone, laptop, smartphone or tablet to the 710's WiFi hotspot with a 100 meter WiFi range. Internet browsing, email, live video broadcasting, phone services, large file transfers and even video conferencing are all available with standard BGAN service. For video broadcasters, the new BGAN HDR service is available for a unshared 650 Kbps channel for reduced video dropouts.
 
NEW BGAN HDR SERVICE - For Live Video Broadcasters 
BGAN HDR Service features four different channels of streaming rates including symmetric and asymmetric options so you only pay for the data you need. Expected full channel streaming rate of 650 Kbps – combined with optimized codecs, you'll see a real step-change in video quality. And recently, you can bond two 710 BGAN terminal for 1.2 Mbps speeds with the new Explorer 710 bonding firmware & software. All HDR services will utilize the current Inmarsat-4 (I-4) BGAN network.
 
Two-Part Terminal
The Explorer 710 is unlike other portable BGAN terminals in that the antenna may be separated from the transceiver and be mounted on an external pole mount, up to 100 meters away with the optional antenna cable. This setup is ideal for permanent installations where the antenna may need to be located in an awkward location.
