Launched in February of 2012, the BGAN M2M service is designed for low-bandwidth remote communication with amazingly low communication costs of under 3 cents per Kilobyte transferred. Using the Hughes 9502 M2M BGAN Terminal, now any remote valve, pump, ATM, traffic light, credit card terminal, or any other device can be monitored, controlled, or operated anywhere on the globe with one low monthly service fee.
