Iridium OpenPort Aero is the aviation adapt latest version of the proven, 'always-on', Iridium OpenPort IP product, providing worldwide communication via the Iridium Satellite Network.
 
Iridium OpenPort Aero offers up to three phone lines and simultaneous, bi-directional data up to 128kbps/134kbps (one doc says 128 another says 134, which is it?) on an all-IP backbone. This provides general-aviation aircrafts with smartphone, laptop, tablet and quality internet connectivity in the air and on the ground.
 
True IP technology provides a flexible and powerful array of High-speed data services. Combined with the simplified service plans, Iridium OpenPort Aero delivers more bandwidth at a better price, making it your pole-to-pole ideal choice.
