INMARSAT MINI-C is the ideal and inexpensive solution for reliable messaging, tracking and security communication requirement for marittime vessels, it is a digital system based on a low-cost satellite terminal, providing two-way store-and-forward messaging, distress calling, EGC SafetyNET™ and FleetNET™, data reporting and polling. The system is approved for use under the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) and mandatory for Solas-compliant ships operating outside Navtex coverage areas.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: your unit must be setted on EARTH STATION number: 002 or 004 or 011 or 012, if you set for mistake your unit on any other Earth stations you will be in ROAMING and you will be charged at the cost + 15% (minimum invoice fee is US$ 10.00)
AAIC Vessel Mini-C Registration: Basic annual Fee is US$ 360,00
